Primary Teacher – Activity Camp

About the role

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers to deliver engaging educational and enrichment activities for primary‑aged children during summer holiday camps in Lewisham. This temporary position offers a fun, relaxed environment where teachers can stay active in the classroom while enjoying flexible daily or weekly bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead interactive educational and activity sessions for children aged 4‑11.
• Create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable camp atmosphere.
• Adapt activities to suit a range of ages, abilities and interests.
• Collaborate with camp staff to ensure a high‑quality experience.
• Manage flexible daily and weekly schedules throughout the summer.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience working in UK primary schools.
• Strong behaviour management and communication abilities.
• Positive, energetic and adaptable attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
