Primary Teacher - ECT

About the role

We are looking for a newly qualified teacher to join primary schools across Liverpool. The role offers the flexibility of daily supply work or longer‑term placements, allowing you to complete your ECT induction while gaining hands‑on experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with senior staff and contribute to school initiatives.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a positive classroom presence.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS if not already held.
