Primary Teacher – Flexible Work Opportunities

About the role

Teaching Personnel is recruiting primary teachers for flexible, short‑term and long‑term assignments across Leyland, Ormskirk, Southport and surrounding areas. The role suits educators who enjoy variety and can teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 year groups.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the national curriculum to pupils in early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Adapt lesson plans to suit the specific needs of each school and age group.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with the appropriate UK teaching qualifications.
• Willingness to work across multiple year groups and locations.
• Flexibility to take on day‑to‑day, short‑term or longer assignments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and completing an enhanced DBS check.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curricula.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Strong classroom management techniques.
