Primary Teacher – Full-time (EYFS/KS1/KS2)

About the role
We are seeking an accomplished, forward‑thinking Qualified Primary Teacher to join a respected primary school in Watford. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time, long‑term appointment across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Manage classroom support staff and provide tailored assistance for SEN and EAL pupils.
- Maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment using clear behaviour expectations and positive reinforcement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about pupil progress, development and wellbeing.
- Contribute to whole‑school initiatives such as phase planning, departmental meetings and professional development days.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory.
- Proven experience of leading a primary classroom in the UK, or an Early Career Teacher with strong potential.
- Strong knowledge of primary literacy, phonics and numeracy frameworks.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
