Primary Teacher – Full‑time (Day Rate £141‑£163)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join a child‑centred school in Hatfield for the upcoming academic year. The role is full‑time, commencing in September 2026, and offers the opportunity to teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 while contributing to a progressive curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, adapting content to meet diverse learner needs.
• Lead and coordinate classroom Teaching Assistants, ensuring effective support for SEN and EAL pupils.
• Maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment that promotes high behavioural expectations and emotional safety.
• Communicate regularly with parents, carers and senior leadership regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Participate in phase planning, curriculum standardisation, staff briefings and wider school community initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory.
• Proven experience teaching in a UK primary setting, either as a generalist or early‑career teacher.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to establish respectful routines from day one.
• Commitment to a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday schedule starting September 2026.
