Primary Teacher – Full‑time position in Leeds

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic primary teacher to join a vibrant South Leeds school this September. The role offers the chance to work in a modern, inclusive environment where innovative teaching is encouraged.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the primary curriculum confidently to a diverse classroom.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused learning atmosphere.
• Use formative assessment data to tailor daily lessons and support student progress.
• Lead and coordinate classroom teaching assistants to maximise achievement.
• Participate in extra‑curricular clubs, parents' evenings and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); applications from ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome.
• Experience managing mixed‑ability and mixed‑language classes (EAL experience advantageous).
• Current Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to high expectations and academic ambition.
