Primary Teacher (Full‑time, Special School)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Primary Teacher to join a specialist school in North Liverpool from September 2026. The school provides education for pupils with severe and/or profound learning difficulties and values consistency, wellbeing and community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the primary curriculum tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND.
• Implement positive behaviour support strategies and maintain high expectations for all learners.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including specialists and support staff.
• Contribute to the school’s inclusive culture and participate in professional development activities.

• Passion for inclusive education and supporting pupils with SEND.
• Reflective, resilient and committed to ongoing professional growth.
• Ability to work consistently within a supportive, community‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices.
• Experience with positive behaviour support techniques.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
