About the role
Reed Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher for a long‑term supply position starting in September 2026. The role is based in a welcoming primary school in Northampton and offers the chance to work with a supportive leadership team and excellent resources.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to enhance pupil outcomes.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Required profile
- Previous experience teaching in UK primary schools.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs.
- QTS is advantageous but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
