Primary Teacher – Immediate & Summer Supply Roles

About the role

Reed is seeking primary teachers for immediate start across the North West, covering the current school year and the busy summer term. Positions are available on a flexible basis – from a single day a week up to full‑time supply work – and can lead to longer‑term assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the national curriculum for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in classroom or intervention settings.
• Provide tutoring, support and intervention for pupils as required.
• Adapt lesson plans to suit temporary or full‑time placements.
• Maintain accurate records and follow school safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified primary teacher (including Early Career Teachers) or experienced class teacher.
• Availability to work immediately, either part‑time or full‑time.
• Willingness to work in a variety of schools across the region.
• Commitment to professional standards and child protection policies.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
• Classroom management and lesson planning.
• Ability to assess and support pupil progress.
