Primary Teacher

About the role

Nurture Education is recruiting an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a high‑achieving primary school in Clapham. The role can be based in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your experience and preference, offering a supportive environment to inspire young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of pupils, including those with SEND.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience working in a UK primary school, or a strong commitment as an ECT.
• Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
