Primary Teacher – Key Stage 1 (Supply)

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Chester on a full‑time supply basis starting in September. This role focuses on Key Stage 1, offering the chance to support young learners during a pivotal stage of their development.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and parents.
- Contribute to wider school activities where appropriate.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, or be an Early Career Teacher.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Creative and engaging teaching approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to helping every child achieve their potential.
