About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in St Helens for the Autumn term of September 2026. The role is full‑time, teaching a KS1 class, with the possibility of extending beyond Christmas for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Maintain excellent classroom management and a positive learning environment.
Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with the leadership team and fellow teachers to support school initiatives.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
Strong classroom management skills.
Passion for inspiring children to reach their full potential.
