Primary Teacher – KS2 Class (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to lead a well‑behaved KS2 class in a supportive, high‑achieving school in Richmond upon Thames. The role starts after the February half‑term and runs until the end of the academic year, offering a chance to make a real impact on pupils' academic progress and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
• Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and KS2 phase leaders.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in KS2.
• Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum and assessment.
• Confident, positive classroom presence and reliable team player.
