About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Primary Teacher to join a large, diverse primary school in Sydenham for the academic year starting September 2026. The role is full‑time and offers the chance to lead a Year‑group class while collaborating with a supportive teaching team.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess the KS2 curriculum for a dedicated class.
- Work closely with the year‑group team to share planning, assessments and enrichment activities.
- Utilise the assistance of teaching assistants and the SENCO team to support pupils with additional needs.
- Maintain effective classroom management and differentiate instruction to meet varied abilities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS2.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to make subjects engaging.
- Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills.
- Commitment to supporting a diverse pupil population.
