About the role

Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a high‑achieving, resource‑rich primary school in North Leeds. You will lead a classroom that values academic inquiry, creativity and independent thinking, delivering a rigorous curriculum to inspire pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver an engaging, standards‑aligned curriculum that challenges all learners.
• Use data‑driven formative assessments to personalise learning pathways.
• Maintain a well‑structured, high‑trust classroom environment built on positive reinforcement.
• Collaborate with year‑group partners on cross‑curricular projects.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing detailed progress updates.
• Participate in whole‑school initiatives, subject leadership and CPD activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong references from primary settings.
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and a proven record of raising attainment.
• Current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) registered on the Update Service.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to contribute to school sports, arts or extracurricular clubs.
