Primary Teacher – Summer Term & September Roles

About the role

Reed is partnering with schools and multi‑academy trusts across Kent and Medway to place qualified primary teachers for the upcoming Summer Term and September intake. The roles vary from full‑time to part‑time, offering flexible supply work as well as longer‑term or permanent positions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and senior staff to support classroom management.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher conferences, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a primary setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management techniques.
• Ability to design age‑appropriate curriculum and resources.
• Effective communication with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
