Primary Teacher (Year 1-6) – Full‑Time Permanent

About the role
The school is a ‘Good’ graded primary school in the heart of Chelmsford, looking for a passionate Primary Teacher to join a supportive, inclusive team from September 2026. The role covers teaching across Year 1‑6 (KS1 and KS2) on a permanent, full‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, teachers and teaching assistants to maintain high progress scores.
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos, supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.
- Participate in continuous professional development and optional teaching‑leadership routes (Subject Lead, Year Group Lead, Phase Lead).
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to assessment and reporting processes.
Required profile
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Either an experienced primary teacher or an ambitious early‑career teacher (ECT).
- Demonstrated passion for learning and motivating young people.
- Experience teaching across KS1 and KS2.
