Primary Teacher – Year 1 (KS1) – Tower Hamlets

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our vibrant KS1 team in Tower Hamlets from September 2026. You will lead a Year 1 class, supporting pupils as they transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage and fostering a love of learning.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, ambitious lessons across the Year 1 curriculum.
- Build strong foundations in phonics, literacy and mathematics.
- Create an inclusive classroom with high expectations for all learners.
- Use assessment data to inform planning and accelerate pupil progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver an inspiring curriculum.
- Develop positive partnerships with parents and carers.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching primary pupils in the UK.
- Secure understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Enthusiastic, reflective and committed to continuous improvement.
