About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers flexible daily assignments, allowing you to choose the days you work while supporting young learners in a classroom setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Year 1 curriculum on a day‑to‑day basis as a supply teacher.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Follow existing lesson plans with minimal preparation and marking.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and policies.

Required profile

• Relevant classroom experience, preferably with Year 1 pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Adaptability to work in various primary schools across the region.
• Professional, proactive attitude and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS if not already held.
