About the role

Reeson Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher for Year 1 in a friendly, inclusive two‑form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets, East London. The role starts in September 2026 and is full‑time, long‑term.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons for Year 1 pupils.
• Inspire curiosity and a love of learning across the curriculum.
• Maintain strong classroom management and a supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with an experienced teaching assistant and a year‑group partner.
• Utilise shared resources and contribute to the school’s balanced curriculum.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent, relevant experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
• Demonstrated ability in classroom management and creative lesson planning.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and high standards for all pupils.
• Enthusiasm, resilience and a passion for making learning engaging.
