Primary Teacher – Year 2‑6 Supply (Portsmouth)

About the role
Reed is seeking enthusiastic Year 2‑6 supply teachers for primary schools across Portsmouth and the wider Hampshire area. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day or longer‑term assignments with immediate start dates.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the curriculum to Year 2‑6 pupils in a variety of primary school settings.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different school policies and timetables.
- Provide minimal planning and marking for short‑term placements.
Required profile
- Previous experience teaching Year 2‑6 classes.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Adaptability to work in multiple school environments.
- Proactive, professional attitude and passion for pupil development.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
