Primary Teacher – Year 5 (Tower Hamlets)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Tower Hamlets, starting in September 2026. The role is focused on teaching Year 5 pupils, delivering a high‑quality curriculum and supporting their academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and challenge learners.
• Create a calm, purposeful classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Use assessment data effectively to monitor progress and inform future teaching.
• Differentiate learning to ensure every pupil can succeed.
• Collaborate with colleagues on shared planning and contribute to school‑wide improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
