About the role
We are looking for qualified Primary Teachers to deliver targeted Literacy and Numeracy interventions within secondary schools. The role starts in September and supports pupils who need extra help to become secondary‑ready in English and Maths.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging literacy and numeracy sessions for small groups of students.
- Identify gaps in reading, writing and mathematical understanding and provide tailored support.
- Collaborate with school staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Help students reach the expected levels to progress confidently through secondary education.
Required profile
- Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS or equivalent).
- Strong experience teaching English and Mathematics.
- Flexible, nurturing approach with the ability to work with differentiated learning needs.
- Passion for supporting students who face barriers to education.
