Primary Teaching Assistant – Flexible Full‑Time/Part‑Time

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to join a range of schools in Maidstone and surrounding areas. The role offers immediate start dates, flexible contracts and the chance to gain hands‑on classroom experience while supporting pupils of all abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with SEND such as autism, ADHD or speech and language needs.
• Help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
• Support the whole class with routine activities and behavioural guidance.

Required profile

• Experience working with children in schools, childcare, tutoring or youth work.
• Graduates interested in a career in education or teacher training.
• Adaptable, patient and motivated to help children succeed.
• Experience or personal insight into supporting SEND is advantageous.
