Primary Teaching Assistant – Flexible Supply Work

About the role

Teaching Personnel is partnering with primary schools in Saltash and Launceston to provide flexible, supply Teaching Assistant positions. This role offers the chance to support young learners across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 while gaining valuable classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils individually or in small groups to enhance learning.
• Assist the class teacher with day‑to‑day classroom activities.
• Promote a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Work across Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Required profile

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• A positive, proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for supporting children’s development.
