About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream primary school in Barnet (NW4). The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and involves assisting the teacher and helping to prepare lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
- Help prepare and organise lesson materials.
- Provide support to pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in a UK Key Stage 1 or 2 setting.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
