Primary Teaching Assistant (Full‑time)

About the role

Join a thriving Church of England junior school in Gloucester as a full‑time Grade 5 Teaching Assistant. You will support Year 5 pupils, including targeted assistance for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, helping them engage, regulate emotions and access learning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide learning support for all Year 5 children.
• Deliver focused support for a pupil with ASD and ADHD.
• Assist children in following routines and breaking tasks into manageable steps.
• Use visual prompts and positive behaviour strategies.
• Respond sensitively to sensory needs.
• Collaborate with fellow TAs, class teachers and the SENCo.
