Primary Teaching Assistant in Leeds

About the role
Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools in Leeds. You will work closely with teachers to create a supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the classroom for each session alongside class teachers.
- Provide small‑group or one‑to‑one support to students as needed.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and record‑keeping.
- Support behaviour management and help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Patience and the ability to build strong relationships with children.
- Empathetic, kind, caring and approachable demeanor.
- Experience working with special‑needs students is desirable.
- Strong behaviour management capabilities.
Required skills
- Current Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Relevant childcare qualification (preferred).
