About the role

Reed is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers flexible daily rates and the chance to work in a variety of classroom settings, supporting young learners on a short‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

Deliver the Year 1 curriculum and maintain a positive learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure student safety.
Adapt lesson plans quickly to suit each school's specific needs.
Provide minimal marking and planning, focusing on day‑to‑day teaching.

Required profile

Relevant classroom experience, preferably with Year 1 pupils.
Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
Adaptability to different school environments.
Professional attitude and proactive approach.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
