About the role
Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. This temporary, full‑time role offers flexible daily rates and the chance to work in a variety of school settings, ideal for teachers returning to the classroom or seeking adaptable work patterns.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 pupils in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Maintain effective classroom management and behaviour standards.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.
- Provide minimal planning and marking for day‑to‑day assignments.
Required profile
- Relevant classroom experience, preferably with early‑year pupils.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Adaptability and confidence in varied school settings.
- Professional, proactive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Passion for supporting Year 1 learning and development.
