About the role
Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers to cover Year 2‑6 supply assignments across the Hampshire and South East England area. You will join a network of schools that need flexible, day‑to‑day support, with immediate start dates available.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the national curriculum for Year 2‑6 pupils in a variety of primary school settings.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Adapt lesson plans quickly to suit each school's timetable and resources.
- Provide minimal marking and planning for short‑term assignments.
Required profile
- Previous experience teaching Year 2‑6 classes.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Adaptability to work in different school environments.
- Professional, proactive attitude and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS if not already held.
Required skills
- Effective classroom management.
- Ability to adapt lesson delivery on short notice.
