About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic primary teachers to cover Year 2‑6 classes across Hampshire and surrounding areas. These supply positions are flexible, allowing you to choose the days you work while gaining experience in a variety of school settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the national curriculum for Year 2‑6 pupils on a day‑to‑day or longer‑term basis.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment.
• Adapt lesson plans quickly to meet the needs of each school.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where required.

Required profile

• Previous experience teaching Year 2‑6 in a primary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt to different school cultures and routines.
• Professional attitude and proactive communication.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
