About the role
We are seeking a Principal AWS Cloud Architect to lead complex, business‑critical cloud programmes for public‑sector and regulated clients. The role combines hands‑on architecture with senior leadership, guiding transformation initiatives and delivering secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive architectural direction for large‑scale AWS solutions.
- Advise senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
- Lead delivery teams through design, migration, and modernisation phases.
- Own end‑to‑end cloud transformation and platform delivery initiatives.
- Ensure solutions meet security, governance, resilience, and compliance requirements.
Required profile
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, strategy, and large‑scale transformation.
- Professional‑level AWS Cloud Architecture certification.
- Proven track record designing secure, scalable, and resilient AWS platforms.
- Experience delivering complex cloud migration and modernisation programmes.
- Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage large‑scale programmes with minimal direction.
