Principal Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Business Analyst to lead complex business change initiatives at Kensington Mortgage Company. Working in a hybrid model based in Marlow, you will translate business challenges into practical solutions that support our strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis across complex business problems, shaping approaches and defining requirements.
• Influence business strategy, operating models, processes, systems and capabilities through business architecture.
• Develop and maintain business architecture aligned with strategic goals and change priorities.
• Build senior stakeholder relationships, influencing decisions and prioritising business needs.
• Facilitate workshops to define outcomes, user requirements, data needs and high‑quality business requirements.
• Support planning, estimation, impact assessment and change readiness throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with Change Management, Business Implementation and IT to ensure delivery, adoption and benefit realisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Principal or Senior Business Analyst, preferably in financial services or a regulated environment.
• Experience leading analysis on large, complex or regulatory projects and programmes.
• Strong business architecture expertise with ability to link analysis to strategic goals.
• Confidence using formal and hybrid analysis techniques.
• Good understanding of agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery models.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Logical and analytical thinking with practical problem‑solving ability.
