Principal Commercial Officer

About the role

The Principal Commercial Officer will lead the end‑to‑end contract process, ensuring contracts and commercial agreements with customers and suppliers are drafted, negotiated and delivered to completion. This hybrid position supports the full contract lifecycle while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate and finalise contracts and commercial agreements with customers and suppliers.
• Provide contract management support, including administration, change management, configuration and closure.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor, develop and manage junior members of the commercial team.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in drafting, writing and negotiating contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and present to senior management.
• Capability to work collaboratively across project management, engineering, technical and supply‑chain functions.
