Principal Consultant – All Markets

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Consultant to drive growth and deliver client outcomes across our four core markets – central government, health and care, education and the FTSE sector. The role combines go‑to‑market leadership with end‑to‑end delivery of complex engagements, working closely with senior leaders and the wider consulting team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead go‑to‑market efforts in assigned market segments, collaborating with Market Leaders, the Chief Growth Officer and the communications director.
• Oversee and manage client engagements, ensuring compliant, timely and commercially successful delivery from start to finish.
• Advise senior management and the board on strategic and investment decisions, and contribute insight to the A Works product‑innovation pipeline.
• Act as a role model, mentor and manager for junior colleagues, fostering a high‑performance culture.

• Demonstrated success in go‑to‑market initiatives and revenue generation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at all organisational levels.

What we offer

• Basic salary of £95‑110k per year.
