Principal Product Manager (Data) – UK

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager (Data) to lead the vision, strategy and roadmap for complex data products and services across multiple UK locations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape priorities, translate requirements into clear outcomes and drive high‑impact delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for data‑focused solutions.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to influence investment decisions and set priorities.
• Translate business and technical requirements into actionable product outcomes.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of product, engineering, data and design professionals.
• Partner with Data Engineers, Architects and Analysts to deliver high‑value data platforms.
• Mentor junior product managers and contribute to the broader product community.
• Support business development through client engagement and bid work.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex data products, platforms or services.
• Strong background in product strategy, road‑mapping and prioritisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and driving strategic decisions.
• Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in Agile environments.
• Previous consultancy or regulated‑industry experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of data architecture, data modelling and governance principles.
