Principal Program Manager, AI Project Charter

About the role

As a Principal Program Manager you will design, build and deploy AI‑driven tools, agents, dashboards and decision‑support systems for Bolt’s Rides operations. Working independently, you will take solutions from prototype through to production, ensuring they deliver cost, efficiency and reliability improvements across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Personally develop and launch AI tools, agents and dashboards, moving prototypes to production‑ready assets.
• Identify high‑friction operational problems and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
• Work with internal data, APIs, large language models and automation frameworks with minimal reliance on engineering or data teams.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery cycle: problem definition, prioritisation, build, pilot, rollout, adoption and iteration.
• Create decision‑making materials for leadership, outlining trade‑offs, risks, ROI and operational impact.
• Define guardrails and governance for responsible AI use, ensuring explainability, compliance and alignment with platform standards.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience building and deploying applied AI solutions such as agents, workflow automations, dashboards or decision‑support tools.
• Ability to work autonomously on ambiguous business problems and turn them into structured execution plans.
• Understanding of moving AI prototypes to production, including reliability, monitoring and iterative improvement in live operational settings.
