About the role

We are seeking an ambitious solicitor with strong experience in planning, development and highways to join a leading client as a Principal Solicitor. The role involves leading a team, providing expert legal advice and representing clients in various forums.

Key responsibilities

• Offer legal advice to clients, council committees and directorates.
• Undertake advocacy in courts and tribunals.
• Drive business development and build professional relationships.
• Provide specialist training to clients on areas of law.
• Develop and mentor junior staff members.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in planning, development and highways law.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a legal team.
• Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
