Principal Wireless System Test Engineer

About the role

We are working with a company developing advanced 5G and satellite communications technology. The Principal System Test Engineer will bridge the gap between specification, system architecture and real‑world performance, defining test strategies and building automated test capability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement system‑level test strategies for advanced wireless communications products.
• Develop Python‑based automated test frameworks and test capability.
• Work with RF equipment and wireless systems to investigate performance, diagnose issues and validate behaviour.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and customers to translate requirements into meaningful test coverage.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of wireless communications systems, ideally within 4G, 5G, NTN or related technologies.
• Experience interpreting specifications and translating requirements into practical test methodologies.
• Python development skills and experience building automated test solutions.
• Confidence working with RF test equipment and analysing system performance.
