Key responsibilities

• Maintain order and security within the prison estate.
• Build constructive, professional relationships with inmates.
• Act as a peacekeeper, counsellor, or teacher as daily needs arise.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure a safe working environment.
• Carry out regular checks, searches, and monitoring activities.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
• Meet Civil Service nationality requirements.
• Pass a medical, fitness, and eyesight assessment.
• Demonstrate integrity, resilience, and strong communication skills.
