Private Banker

About the role

The Private Banker will deliver bespoke banking and investment solutions to high‑net‑worth individuals across the East of England. You will act as the primary advisor for clients, providing wealth structuring, investment advice and banking services while representing Barclays’ global capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new private banking relationships through referrals, internal networks and corporate/investment banking sources.
• Achieve personal and team targets for new clients, assets and revenues.
• Maintain the highest level of client service, acting as the main contact for banking products, credit advice and queries.
• Provide tailored, high‑quality advice and negotiate optimal commercial outcomes.
• Serve as the interface between clients and internal Barclays teams such as Wealth Advisory, Discretionary Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory and Global Solutions.
• Utilise digital tools, platforms and emerging technologies to enhance client service.
• Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to generate new business opportunities.
