Private Banker

About the role

HSBC is seeking an experienced Private Banker to join its Yorkshire regional team. You will deliver full‑service banking and wealth‑management solutions to high‑net‑worth individuals, helping them grow and protect assets ranging from £5 million to £50 million.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive banking and wealth‑management services to high‑net‑worth clients.
• Generate new Assets Under Management and increase overall portfolio revenues.
• Work closely with the Senior Relationship Manager and independently conduct client meetings, investment suitability reviews, and performance discussions.
• Collaborate with the Investment Specialist to align portfolio allocations with client objectives and risk tolerance.
• Identify and address credit needs, including secured and unsecured loan opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven relationship‑management and investment‑advisory track record within a UK private‑banking environment.
• Demonstrable experience pitching investment capabilities to high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong knowledge of discretionary investment product solutions.
• Relevant qualification such as CISI Level 4 or Investment Advice Diploma.
