Private Banking Executive (Portuguese/Spanish)

About the role

As a Private Banking Executive at Barclays in London, you will support Relationship Managers in acquiring, onboarding, servicing and retaining high‑net‑worth clients. You will be the day‑to‑day operational contact for clients, helping to deliver banking and investment solutions while ensuring compliance and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers with client acquisition, onboarding and retention activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on operational matters, including banking transactions, investments, credit and digital solutions.
• Prepare client‑facing meetings, correspondence, documentation and annual reviews.
• Manage day‑to‑day client administration and resolve operational issues in collaboration with Operations and Business Management.
• Support the marketing of banking and investment products to clients.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance frameworks such as KYC/AML, governance and risk controls.

Required profile

• Experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management or a similar client‑facing environment.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and engage senior stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of banking products, operational procedures, risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
• Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
