Private Client Chartered Legal Executive – Wills Supervision

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Chartered Legal Executive to supervise wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney within our estate‑planning team. The role offers flexible working, no billable targets and the chance to contribute to high‑quality client service in an ethical legal business.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced solicitors and technical professionals to ensure the quality and progression of client files.
• Review and verify the legal and technical accuracy of wills, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Provide feedback and recommend changes to meet clients' estate‑planning objectives.
• Liaise with the estate‑planning team, offering technical support and answering queries.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, STEP member or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning and proven wills‑writing experience.
• Experience with tax planning related to lifetime planning.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships.
