Private Client Investment Operations Associate

About the role

The role supports the Client Operations Manager in handling non‑investment aspects of client relationships for a leading wealth management firm. You will guide clients through onboarding, manage account changes and ensure smooth day‑to‑day servicing.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clients through onboarding, complete paperwork, set up accounts and liaise with custodians.
• Manage transfers, closures and withdrawals of client accounts, including regular and ad‑hoc income.
• Monitor incoming funds, inform investment teams and arrange ISA subscriptions.
• Set up and maintain online client access, handling related administrative issues.
• Process ad‑hoc client instructions and provide non‑investment client service.
• Update client files and support annual review processes.
• Assist with client reporting requirements and maintain work‑in‑progress schedules.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level numeracy with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive problem‑solving and ability to address client issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and internal teams.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
