Private Client Lawyer (high net worth)

About the role

This position offers a Private Client Lawyer the chance to work with high‑net‑worth individuals on complex estate matters. You will join a supportive team across Hastings and Eastbourne, reporting to a respected partner who is known for mentoring talent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of private client matters.
• Work closely with high‑net‑worth clients to understand their needs.
• Draft wills and provide comprehensive estate‑planning advice.
• Handle probate and estate administration, including intestacy cases.
• Advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Declarations of Trust.
• Undertake more complex work such as Court of Protection matters.
• Collaborate closely with an experienced partner and a supportive team.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with approximately 4‑5 years PQE (flexibility for the right candidate).
• Experience with high‑net‑worth clients is highly desirable.
• Strong background in private client work (wills, probate, LPAs).
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Proactive, client‑focused approach and a collaborative mindset.
• Open to both full‑time and part‑time arrangements.
