About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified private client lawyer to join a supportive, forward‑thinking firm in County Durham. You will work with a diverse client base, handling wills, estate planning, probate, trusts and related matters.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction to completion.
- Advise clients on wills, estate planning, probate, estate administration, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and deputyship.
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the private client department.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive with experience in private client work.
- Confident in managing your own caseload and delivering exceptional client care.
- Experience in wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, LPA and deputyship is essential.
- STEP qualification advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proactive, organised and interested in business development and networking.
