About the role
The Legists, a well‑regarded law firm in Devon, is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its supportive, client‑focused team. You will work closely with fee earners on a variety of private client matters, helping to deliver high‑quality legal services.
Key responsibilities
- Support fee earners on wills, probate, estate administration, trusts and lasting powers of attorney (LPAs).
- Assist with file progression from initial instruction through to completion.
- Prepare and review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain client communication and update case files as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience in private client work.
- Good understanding of wills and probate matters.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and effective communication.
- Motivation to develop a career in private client law.
