Private Client Paralegal

About the role

This position offers a clear pathway for a Private Client Legal Secretary or an existing Paralegal to step up into a dedicated paralegal role. You will work alongside an experienced Private Client Solicitor in a well‑established law firm, receiving hands‑on mentoring and formal training.

Key responsibilities

• Support a Private Client Solicitor with a varied caseload of client and probate matters.
• Attend client meetings, take notes and prepare follow‑up documentation.
• Draft legal correspondence, client letters and other routine documents.
• Assist with probate administration and preparation of related legal documents.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and manage client files.
• Liaise with clients in a professional, patient, and compassionate manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure an outstanding client experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Private Client law, either as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal.
• Understanding of probate administration processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• A caring, empathetic approach when dealing with clients.
• Willingness to learn, develop and adapt to established ways of working.
